Cost and Payment
Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?
No. Our pricing stays the same no matter when you call, so a Sunday night burst pipe costs the same as a Tuesday afternoon one. Fair, upfront pricing, no surprises applies to every hour we work, not just the convenient ones.
How do you decide what a fair price is for emergency work?
We look at the job in front of us, not the clock. Once we've worked out what's actually wrong and what fixing it properly involves, we settle on a price with you first, then get to work, and that price stays fixed once we've started.
How does the $65 off my first service offer work?
New customers get $65 off your first service, taken straight off the final bill once the job's done. It applies whether you're booking a small tap repair or a bigger emergency call-out, and there's no catch or fine print attached to it.
Will I know the price before you start work?
Yes. We talk you through the job, explain exactly what's wrong, and settle on a price before anything gets touched. If something extra turns up once we're inside a wall or under a floor, we stop and run the new price past you first.

Are You Licensed and Insured?
Do I need a licensed plumber for emergency repairs?
Yes, plumbing and gas work in NSW both require a current licence, emergency or not. Unlicensed repairs can void your home insurance and leave the job unsafe, so it's never worth the shortcut. We're fully licensed for both trades, every visit.
Who's responsible for plumbing repairs if I'm renting in Eastlakes?
In most NSW rentals, the landlord organises and pays for licensed repairs, while the tenant's job is to report problems as soon as they show up. We're happy to deal directly with a property manager and supply whatever paperwork they need on file.
Are you licensed for gas work as well as water?
Yes, both water and gas licensing sit with our crew, so a job touching either trade never needs a second contractor called in. Gas fitting specifically is only ever carried out by team members holding the right licence for it.
Do you provide proof of licensing on request?
Absolutely. Our NSW Plumbing Licence #292427C is displayed on our site, and we'll show it again in person on the day if you'd like to see it. You're entitled to ask, and honest tradespeople never mind being asked.

How Fast Can You Get Here?
What information do you need when I call?
Just tell us what's happening. Water pouring somewhere it shouldn't, no hot water, a gas smell, whatever it is, plus roughly where in the house. That's enough for us to work out how urgent things are and get the right plumber moving straight away.
Do you answer the phone overnight?
Yes, we're open 24 hours, and someone always picks up, no matter what time your call comes in. You won't be stuck waiting on hold while a burst pipe keeps running through your ceiling or floor.
What counts as an emergency?
Anything actively causing damage or risking safety counts: a burst pipe, a blocked toilet that's the only one in the house, no hot water in the middle of winter, or any gas smell at all. If you're genuinely not sure, call anyway and we'll help you work it out.
Is there a different number for after-hours calls?
No, it's the same number day or night: (02) 9138 6524. We're open 24 hours, so there's no separate after-hours line to hunt for, no transfers, and nobody but a real person picking up at any hour.

What's Different About Eastlakes
How often should older Eastlakes homes get their plumbing checked?
For houses built before the 1980s, especially those with original clay drainage, booking an inspection every two to three years is a smart habit. Eastlakes' mid-century flats and houses often carry pipework well past its prime, and small issues are far easier to fix before they turn into emergencies.
Why do older homes in Eastlakes have more plumbing emergencies?
A lot of the suburb's housing dates to the 1960s and '70s redevelopment of the old Rosebery Racecourse, and much of it still has its original vitrified clay sewer lines and ageing hot water units. Both are reaching the point where cracks and sudden failures become more common.
How does Eastlakes's housing density affect emergency response?
Eastlakes packs a lot of flats and units into a small area, especially north of Grafton Street, so a single burst flexi-hose or hot water failure can affect several households at once. We factor that in on apartment call-outs anywhere between here and Eastlake Golf Club on the eastern edge.
What's the most common plumbing emergency in Eastlakes?
Hot water failures top the list, especially out of the older public housing blocks and mid-century flats where units are getting on in years. Storm season adds a second spike, with low-lying ground near The Lakes Golf Club and the Botany Wetlands prone to stormwater backing up into properties.
